Temple of awareness
Temple of Awareness explores the connection between the physical and spiritual realms through the symbolism of the pineal gland, or "third eye." This organ, associated with intuition, inner knowing, and cosmic consciousness, serves as a bridge between light and darkness, form and formlessness.
Inspired by the introspection brought on by the 2020 pandemic, the work reflects a shift from external distractions to inner awareness, urging us to reconnect with life, Earth, and the universe. The hypnotic kinetic effect of the piece invites the viewer to pause, focus, and experience a moment of pure consciousness, an opportunity to simply be.
