’The illusionary truth’
(Miniature set photography)
When I create my miniature worlds, I’m not trying to replicate reality. The shapes and elements may seem familiar at first, but it’s the subtle details—the odd proportions, the plants growing differently—that unsettle the eye.
For a brief moment, it feels like you’re looking at the real world. But then comes the realization: something is off. You’ve been misled, drawn into a place that feels both familiar and strange.
It makes you wonder—can we ever fully trust what we see? Or is even the truth just another illusion?
